Machinehealers have been at the forefront of service provision within the Imaging (Photo-Finishing) industry since 1985, in the form of Complete Minilab Services and latterly CMS (GB) Ltd.

Our team of regionally based highly skilled engineers are fully conversant with a wide range of conventional optical and newer digital systems. For many years we have provided preventative maintenance and breakdown response for a substantial number of photo processing outlets, both independent and large high street chains, currently totalling in excess of one thousand sites.

Working Together

Working closely in tandem with the majority of the worlds leading Photographic Processing equipment manufacturers we have developed a technical knowledge base unrivalled in the Imaging field and engineers frequently attend manufacturers own training centres, including whenever a new generation of equipment enters the market place.

CMS’ internal engineering structure includes an escalation procedure ensuring all engineers are able resolve the most complex of faults through peer information exchange. Engineers benefit from the very latest PDA technology enabling them to be ‘online’ with head office at all times. This improves response times as engineers can identify outstanding calls in their locality and are able to view in depth diagnostic information which may accelerate fix times once they reach site. It is always our objective to maintain or surpass a 90% first time fix rate.

Spare Parts

All engineers carry a comprehensive spare parts kit custom designed to the machine types prevalent within their specific area of operation, leading to accelerated fix times and increased first time fix rates.

In the event of further spares being required our central stock holding accommodates parts for the majority of equipment types and generally parts can be shipped to arrive next day or if required, the same day.

As with all elements of our business, spares consumption is constantly monitored allowing us to adapt stock holdings to the changing requirements of particular machine types throughout their lifespan.
