| About machinehealers.com
Machinehealers is the umbrella name for CMS (GB) Ltd and its associate companies; providing engineering service solutions to the Imaging, Medical, Dry Cleaning and Banking industries plus CMS Sales and CMS Europe. CMS itself is an award winning Engineering Service Provision company founded in the south eastern corner of England in 1985, specialising in supplying a high quality customer orientated engineering service to the Photo-Finishing (Imaging) industry. From modest beginnings, CMS has grown to become one of the largest independent companies of this kind in the world. In 2000 we extended our range of engineering support and ethos into the field of Dry Cleaning and since that time we have added the Medical and Cash Machines to the range of industries able to benefit from our unique blend of service provision and customer support. Since 2001 we have opened operations in Spain, France, Ireland, Holland and Germany with further ventures in other countries scheduled throughout mainland Europe. In 2002 CMS Sales was established to facilitate the increasing levels of sales in second hand Minilabs plus peripheral equipment i.e. Densitometers plus new Dry Cleaning machinery and ancillary plant. In addition to this we also manufacture remote call handling, diagnostic and monitoring systems (embodied by our own Unicom system), designed to individual customer specifications and which can be adapted to suit companies in any industry where successful service provision is a key element to that company’s success. How We Operate The day to day business of the entire group is managed using small business groups, the majority of which are based at Head Office in Eastbourne. Regional groups communicate using video conferencing and e-mail across the UK & Europe. The purpose of each of these small business groups is to manage all aspects of customer care & services, taking into account the well being and management of staff. The strategic management of the company is also managed through the small business groups, involving 3rd parties for Accountancy, Financial & Marketing strategies. Company performance is monitored using feedback from regional customer seminars, with additional input from an in-house computerised data management infrastructure through which all business is logged. This system enables members of staff to match company performance with customer criteria, so that current expectations and future targets are achieved. Regular meetings are held between customers and the small business group managers to identify new areas of service and product development. Machinehealers has its own small but highly effective Research and Development Department producing innovative systems and products required for the continued progression of the company. Customer care is front lined by our in-house Customer Service department, whose responsibility it is to ensure that day to day targets are met & all information is fed back through our computer system. In addition, the department randomly polls a cross section of customers, filling in enquiry forms to monitor customer satisfaction and contentment. The marketing of the company is done at all levels with the provision of first class service by management and engineers. The Managing Director creates the platform for increasing business by personal contact with senior staff of existing and potential new customers. Contact for new business is made through exhibitions, existing client recommendations and the internet. The small business groups are invited each month to input suggestions and improvements. Time is provided by Senior Management each month to hear and act upon even the smallest ideas being put forward avoiding unnecessary beaurocracy. Environmental Issues Machinehealers takes their responsibilities within the community & environment very seriously. Within Imaging, the company is at the forefront of finding solutions to the implementation of new industry regulations relating to the recycling and final disposal of used equipment. Machinehealers is actively investing in research and development of products to enhance and widen the scope of tele-working in all areas and is an award winning world leader in this field. We have an in-house training school providing courses and product awareness for our own staff, customers and apprentices. Machinehealers provide employment for many individuals throughout the UK and in 2003 our business was enhanced once more with the addition a first retail venture 'Key Pic Clean' This outlet brings our expertise in Photo Finishing, Dry Cleaning and Key Cutting to the local community near Head Office. Our retail portfolio was then increased with 'The Toolbox' a tool and hardware outlet situated in North Derbyshire able to support the needs of the trade and home user, holding considerable stock on site and an unrivalled range available by overnight delivery. Finally It’s our fundamental belief that the customer is the most important
‘jigsaw piece’ in any business and that their opinions and
wishes should be considered at every opportunity. We advocate a friendly
and flexible approach to business at all levels whilst maintaining a truly
professional service
